Rooted Dahlia Cuttings

All cuttings are propagated right here at Her Homestead from healthy stock plants.

Cuttings are taken to order once a purchase is made. This allows us to provide fresh, high quality plant material rather than holding cuttings for extended periods. Each cutting is then rooted and established before being shipped or made available for pickup.

Unless otherwise stated, all cuttings are offered as pre-orders and will be fulfilled once they are properly rooted and weather conditions are suitable.

Because these are young, actively growing plants, minor variations in size and fullness are completely normal. Each cutting has the potential to grow into a strong, productive dahlia plant.

Sanitization & Plant Health

We take plant health seriously. All propagation tools and equipment are sanitized between uses and cuttings are grown in clean, monitored conditions. That said… we are still working with nature.

Cuttings are grown in real environments and exposed to air, water, soil, and insects. Because of this, some plant diseases or pests can exist without visible symptoms, even in healthy looking plants. While we do our best to maintain strong, healthy stock, we cannot guarantee cuttings are completely disease or pest free.

Shipping & Inspection

Please open and inspect your cuttings within 48 hours of delivery. If a cutting arrives severely damaged or not viable, reach out within that timeframe with photos and we will review and make it right.

Minor cosmetic damage, such as slight leaf stress from shipping, can occur and is considered normal.

As a best practice, all new plants should be gently rinsed, kept isolated from your existing plants, and monitored for the first few days after arrival. This helps reduce the risk of introducing pests or disease into your growing space.

Refund Policy

Because cuttings are live plants and growing conditions vary, we cannot guarantee performance after transplanting. Refunds or replacements are only offered for cuttings that arrive non viable upon delivery.
